Mullvad - June 2023, the third audit. We'd also like an update, but it has completed a number of other security audits since

Oh, I can feel mullvads policy in that ~~article~~ opinion, especially since Mullvad too has had their no logging policies tested in practice just like Windscribe

We never pay for reviews
It may come as a surprise that many product reviews found on the Internet are actually paid ads disguised as unbiased reviews. Sometimes, the more a company pays, the more favorable its product or service is reviewed. From a consumer's standpoint, this makes it hard – if not impossible – to know when a review is genuine and when it's a biased advertisement.

We do not have affiliates, and do not pay for influencers
In other words, we do not pay anyone to write about Mullvad – good or bad. We don't even pay for links back to our website.

I enjoy that Mullvad are transparent with their third party security audits:

Thats why I bought myself mullvad a few days before

Great selection of Servers, even better Wireguard and Openvpn integration (since other VPNs are pretty much dogshit regarding their „If you dont use our Spyware on your PC, we wont let you use the VPN“ policy. Then again, the Servers can sometimes be pretty bad when talking about latency and download throttling

What no one has said yet, I love the Prepaid Option for Mullvad

Tom's Guide has nothing to do with Tom, and it's not for privacy oriented people.

Case in point: In the article they link their top 5 VPN picks for 2025. Those being NordVPN, Surfshak, ExpressVPN, Proton and PIA. And for some reason the site has a hate-boner for Mullvad, and keeps mocking it in this article, and others for not having all "features" the others do, not paying for audits, etc.
