The drones used by India in the latest attacks were identified as Israeli-made Harop MK 2 models, which are high-altitude surveillance UAVs capable of flying at up to 35,000 feet, beyond the range of most standard anti-aircraft guns.

The engine, produced by UK-based UAV Engines Ltd, was recovered intact with visible manufacturer markings. This marks the first successful interception of this drone model globally.

The latest escalation comes after the April 22 attack in Pahalgam, Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), which killed 26 people. India immediately blamed Pakistan-based elements for the attack, but provided no evidence. Islamabad has strongly rejected the accusations.

Funny how Pakistan humiliated both French and Israeli military industries in a night.

Nah, we say critical support. After all, this is the U.S-backed military coup gov't that overthrew pro-multipolar prime minister Imran Khan. It just so happened to face off another western ally.

What was it said? 2 countries with a McDonald's in each won't fight each other?

I agree that support for the U.S. corruption aspects would be nonsense, but making a mockery of Israeli and NATO weapons while flexing on Modi gets my full support. Also, I'm not prepared to condemn an entire country because corrupt politicians did some backstabbing in an effort to avoid the U.S. bringing mass violence to their doorstep, as tends to happen (and seems to have happened regardless of their ill-considered efforts at placation).

I don't condemn the Pakistanis really at all. Destroying Fr*nc**s jets and Isr**l* drones is def hella based, on its own.

Modi and the Hindutva idolize the settler colonialist occupation of Zionism, so this isn't too surprising.

I'm always wary when an article tells you that people have been 'martyred' when describing casualties on one side but not the other.

They've usually got an agenda to push and numbers will be exaggerated and not always the truth.

it's a religious thing, Muslims use the word "shahid", which gets mistranslated to martyr, shahid includes any Muslim who dies in a war or a work accident.

You think the .pk website could have a bias?

Nonetheless it is confirmed by many other sources https://www.middleeasteye.net/news/pakistan-shoots-down-israeli-made-drones-launched-india

Oh I don't doubt people were killed.

It's just describing them as being martyred puts a bias on the article. I'm inclined to see it as a.propoganda piece.

The whole thing is bad enough as it is without stirring up religious hatred even more.
