I find AI to be of great help when using arch for the first time. Because i can ask anything that i dont understand about arch or anything that i want to do but dont know how.

I install app named “Alpaca” from flathub and thats how i use AI privatly without my conversacions going on the internet to who knows what third parties…

Yeah, sure... I just hope you don't solely rely on your local LLM for everything. The arch wiki is great.

So Alpaca still gives functional answers if you turn off your internet connection?

Alpaca doesnt use internet conection, you download llm and thats what you are using completly offline 🙂 Actualy its the same when you use online service, because thats what they are doing, they let you use some old llm that was trained 2 years ago and have no up do date info. Just ask simple question like what is curent presidnet of us and you will see that it doesnt have any idea.. But this way you are at least preserving your privacy. I dont want them to save my conversacions and to sell them to some other company who will sell it to some other and in the end it will end up in governmant hands.. And who knows whose also..
