They don't want you to remember the core pass time of the Allies during WW2 was killing Nazis.

That fat, orange, human bone spur couldn't even be bothered to drive to a WWI memorial. Why would he want to change veteran's day other than to take focus off everyone else and make it about himself?

Not saying I support but this is not without precedent, it was celebrated as Armistice Day from 1919 until 1954 when it was renamed Veterans Day.
