Puzzle for May 2025! (sh.itjust.works)
submitted 1 month ago* (last edited 6 days ago) by [email protected] to c/[email protected]

Another puzzle! The code is a semi random string of letters.

The solid squares are mistakes I covered up 🤦‍♂️

When you solve the puzzle, please comment here that you solved it, but DO NOT post the solution!

After commenting here, PM me the solution, and write the title of this post at the beginning of the message.

Then, at the end of this month, I will randomly choose a winner from all those who solved the puzzle, announce it here, and then PM them a gift card code.

chetradley was our April winner!

Have fun!

Edit:

JayDee is our winner this month!

I think I got it. It looks like you might have put some 'R's where 'L's should go in the first and fifth ciphers.

To chime in, I did get an Amazon gift code for participating in this. I have yet to test it out.

Thanks! Sorry I admit I was in a rush 😬

Edit: Also my apologies for the late reply, I was on holiday, which was surprisingly quite busy 😅

A place for the discussion and sharing of Elian works, both original and found elsewhere.

What is Elianscript? It’s an alternative writing system whose properties combine the linearity of spelling with the free-form nature of drawing.

It’s also kind of like a weak cipher, to those not in the know. Similar to a pigpen cipher, but instead of randomly jumbling the letters, we all agree to do it alphabetically. That way everyone IN the know, can read it.

Full instructions can be found here.

What about numbers? In this community we prefer to use Arabic numbers. Using other systems is fine so long as you post an explanation of how to translate them.
