My advice for moderation is to make a clear and robust set of rules. This eliminates a lot of issues from the start. The most difficult part of running a community is growing the community.
How do the added rules look to you?
They look good. Take a look at the rules on [email protected] I have had fewer issues since I reccomended other communities for topics not appropriate for the community.

I support this community supporting DIY, or at least not categorically ruling it out, esp. as it's the only option for so many people and going without HRT is obviously so much worse.

I'm definitely interested in seeing more information in this regard. I don't have too much faith in the system in my country, especially after already spending the last quarter of a year so far trying out the public system for mental health. I don't have confidence that trying to do this officially and 'properly' wouldn't just lead to yet another decade of my life being wasted and spent waiting for some future that never comes. And dealing with people that are in all likelihood religious conservative while I'm at it.
I'm still questioning and completely unsure of myself and what I actually want and need. But one thing that I'm starting to become very sure about is that I would like to at least try for long enough to see what HRT would do for my mental state and if it would make me feel like any more of a real human.

I don't know why I'm always a little reluctant for that sort of thing, I was like that for years with Discord too, just never used it. Feels almost like I'm scared of getting any more personal than anonymous shit posting on Reddit/Lemmy lol. But I think it's about time I got over myself.
