"I am deeply convinced that the heroic Russian army and people will brilliantly inherit the tradition of victory, confidently demonstrate invaluable dignity and honour on the fronts of the special military operation," North Korean leader Kim Jong Un said via a translator before raising a glass of wine at his welcome dinner prepared by Putin at Russia's Vostochny space center.

"The Russian army and people will certainly win a great victory in the sacred struggle for the punishment of a great evil that claims hegemony and feeds an expansionist illusion," Kim added.

Putin and Kim were offered a menu including duck and fig salad, crab dumplings, sturgeon and beef with a choice of Russian wines, according to Kremlin reporters.

That is a nice looking spread! Am I the only one that wants to know what they ate?

EDIT: I want better descriptions of the food not the general words they used.

As far as I am aware Putin speaks Russian, English, and German fluently. I wouldn't be surprised if he had some degree of skill in a few other languages as well.

The article does say he used a translator, he may have been off camera or using an ear piece.
