We've known that since there's been a Taliban

To be fair the Taliban doesnt even seem to think most people are equals. Women, children, Indian, Turkmen, American they dont really seem to give a shit about any of them and would openly just start shooting. Seems to be the only reason they dont is either self-preservation or apathy.

The Taliban aren't the only ones. I honestly don't think very many people, including many women, do see women as people. Look how easily the USA threw its women citizens under the bus.
