This guy really, really needs to learn what the internet can do to the reputation of those who deserve it.

He literally says the rich class needs to "hurt the economy" on purpose. Economic terrorism.

    So? He is a biilionaire. What, besides his reputation among the rabble does he have to loose? Why should he care? Does he need to fear that you will boycot his companies? Not even a bloody revolution in the US could touch him. He will just move to another country.

    Unemployment is something they attacked Biden for so it does seem hypocritical. Workers are needed.

    But at the same time they're encouraging the loss of jobs to bring down inflation. Everyone likes to talk about interest rate rises cooling inflation but they never mention that the cooling effect is largely a function of lost employment.

    That's not specifically how it works. Rate hikes discourage M&A, Capex in general, and new business launches. Jobs aren't necessarily lost.

    For instance, with all our rate hikes in the US, we're still adding jobs on net every month, but inflation is falling.
