    It's worse than that; the prime universe inches towards the universe where the federation is overtaken by the Borg each time they kick out a tankie despite Trek's leftist premise.

    Nah the first half of the 21st century is very rough in the Star Trek universe. We're right on track (not really, I think we're fucked long term) but it sucks to be the ones to live through it.
