I'm shooting a movie currently and after a conversation with my director we realized that we couldn't think of a single prequel that we liked. However, we both agreed that there has to be at least one.

What do you think? Are there any good prequels?

The first thing that came to mind, after the fact, was The House of the Dragon the Game of Thrones prequel.

Star Trek: Strange new worlds is still doing ok after the first episode of the second season. Not amazing but much better than a lot of other Star Trek things in recent history. Also I think Star trek 5&6 can technically be called prequels, as TNG was already running at that point. And ST 6 is a movie I really like. (let's not talk about 5)
