Summary

Elon Musk condemned rising vandalism against Tesla, blaming the political left and suggesting a conspiracy against him.

He cited incidents of arson, gunfire, and property destruction at Tesla dealerships, linking them to protests against his work with DOGE.

Trump and the DOJ have labeled the attacks "domestic terrorism," vowing arrests.

Some Tesla owners are selling their vehicles or adding bumper stickers distancing themselves from Musk, who defended Tesla as a "peaceful company," saying "I've never done anything harmful."

he said. "We've never done anything harmful."

He's personally seen to the loss of tens of thousands (hundreds now perhaps) of jobs has no signs of stopping, stopping nutritional aid to those that need it most, and has even made comments about going after Social Security which serves our societies most vulnerable. Elon, how on Earth are you so clueless to see that all this hate is directly from your actions.

I'd even argue people may not have cared for Tesla, but the fact that Musk directly benefits monetarily makes Tesla a target.

A perfect example: Musk also was partial creator of Paypal even though he sold his interest in it a long time ago and has no association with it now. While lots of folks don't like Paypal for a number of reasons, I don't hear one peep of people ditching paypal because Musk had a hand in its creation.

Dude literally harassed and tried to ruin the life of a guy who saved a bunch of trapped kids in a cave. Never did anything harmful my ass.

Elon, how on Earth are you so clueless to see that all this hate is directly from your actions.

Such is life when you are empathy free...

And, likely, a sociopath to boot.

🤦‍♀️ 🤷‍♂️ 🙄 🖕 🖕

He's not clueless, he's using this as an opportunity to play the victim and paint "the left" as the real problem. It's all for Fox news viewers and the ignorant and it's going to work. These people are masters at propaganda and manipulation. It's disgusting how effective they've been

I wonder if he actually beleives that

[–] [email protected] 12 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (1 children)

He only hurt government NPCs. He is the only brain in a jar in this system we are all computer programs.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 day ago (1 children)

He's got protagonist syndrome.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 1 day ago

I don’t think he believes in anything beyond accumulating as much wealth as possible at whatever cost.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 1 day ago

Ya know... I could see him thinking all his bad jokes, and online antics don't hurt anyone (not true) but the dude is decimating the federal workforce, he can't honestly believe he hasn't done anything to garner that hate. That's people's livelihoods.

I'm shocked at the number of open Nazis in American "leadership". And the number of unelected "officials" tearing up our government from the inside.

He's an actual sociopath

I'm not being hyperbolic, he's an actual clinically sociopathic person, of course he thinks he hasn't done harm.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 1 day ago

Clinically psychopathic. Sociopathy is the result.

The distinction is important because neurotypical people can be raised to behave in ways that are sociopathic, both directly and indirectly. Most of the ultra wealthy who are born into wealth for example explain away the harms their lives cause others. But they still feel and express empathy in many aspects of their lives

But Musk seems genuinely like he has no genuine empathy, and like he has no comprehension of how to be a moral actor in the world. Trump is the same.

Being reasonable intelligent and born into privilege in the world that rewards sociopathy through the market system... psychopaths seem to disproportionately find themselves in positions of power. It's perverse.

Holy shit, I actually laughed out loud at this. "Never done anything harmful", lmfao. Get the fuck outta here.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Even good people do harmful things sometimes, he doesn't even say he's good, he says he's a perfect saint, jfc

His existence is harmful. I feel that I need to defend myself against him at all times, since him just existing is akin to assault and battery.

[–] [email protected] 46 points 2 days ago (1 children)

You don't get to be the richest man in the world without crushing those under you. Fucking liar.

[–] [email protected] 20 points 2 days ago

Let alone destroying the majority of the us government

[–] [email protected] 76 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

Sorry Musk! I heard empathy is weakness!

[–] [email protected] 12 points 1 day ago

One would think the world's richest man could afford a mirror....

[–] [email protected] 43 points 2 days ago

"I've never done anything harmful"

Haha, good one, Musk. Trolls gonna troll. Now fuck off back under your bridge, you nepo-baby scumbag.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 1 day ago

you routinely go on social media and cheerlead for butchers committing genocide in ukraine and gaza, amongst other things.

terminal affluenza. doesnt understand that actions have consequences.

If you dont consider hacking a government to pieces harmful.... Idk what to tell you. Even hacking a regime to pieces will hurt people. You can't move fast and break things with governments and people's lives.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 1 day ago

Oh yes, so innocent. 🙄

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 day ago

The paranoid part of my brain sees things like this as an attempt to piss people off enough to kick off some violent attacks, and give Trump the justification he wants to enact martial law.

[–] [email protected] 31 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) (1 children)

Is he seriously thinking that people might have empathy for him if he says that?

I mean, forget the dismantling of the United States of America. Even without that, he sued into oblivion and made it untenable wherever possible to even get recompense from Tesla after the cars self-crashed or self-destructed. Musk is a walking, talking pile of shit harming everyone wherever he can. He made a person saving miners out to be a pedophile. He names his fucking kid an unpronounceable series of letters and numbers. This man is a fucking shouldabeenabort plaguing the whole world.
