Comment section.

They commented "You're all my friends now" or something. I added them and messaged them occasionally. Over time we became best friends.

One friend I met outside the bathrooms at a rave. Another friend I met at a gas station.

A morgue, though we aren't really friends any more.

I was doing research for a book series I planned to write, and someone conned a bunch of medical examiners and coroners as well as some morticians to let me visit and ask questions.

Which was all very cool, and made for wonderful stories apart from the books too.

But, one of the assistants at a specific facility was a fan of the band on my shirt, (a very local band that rarely performs outside a small region, and not in that state back then). So we got to talking music. Ended up going to some shows together, hanging out a bit. Since he lived in another state, it kinda petered out until we lost contact on a regular basis, but one of us will email the other if we're hitting a show near each other. Not that I travel any more, but still.

Good dude though. Super dark sense of humor, like me, so we kinda freaked people out when we'd get rolling.

I've only had two or three and the only one I "met" somewhere was one with whom I did so at school.
