Besides is good that vertical tabs are now natively available on Firefox. I prefer the old sidebar along with my favorite vertical tabs extension. Is there a way to restore it?

Quick update: I discovered that it can be done in the settings through General --> Browser Layout --> Show Sidebar button.

You can also use Ctrl+E shortcut for the sidebar. I removed the button (because I don't like a button highlighted like that) and using it this way.

I don't know what all this talk of css hacks and add-ons is about... Alt, View, Sidebar, Bookmarks.

I was gonna reply with the CSS hacks I used but then I realized I haven't upgraded to 136. However after the upgrade I didn't notice any changes in my setup. I assume Sidebery handled this thoroughly. My userChrome.css also works nicely on LibreWolf.

Yeah. One of the best add-ons ever.

As a long time user of sidebery I actually want to check out the native implementation at some point. Maybe it works with less lag and consumes less RAM.

I actually tried it previously from about:config but I still prefer Sidebery's sidebar because I can make it really compact. Though it's possible that we'll see an update from Sidebery's side as well since this is official now.
