Lookup the kasagna massacre, and it's reported to be closer to 50 then 70 and reports aren't incredibly well vetted which is likely the reason it's a side note rather than a headline.
Would you link to one? I just used duck duck go on incognito and after fighting several times to convince DDG I DONT MEAN LASAGNA I still didn't find any news about it.
Like I said, it's not an area known for incredibly thorough journalism and reporting so things are usually kinda slow to be rolled onto the front page.

Ummm...... ? I don't know how to use Lemmy so maybe I'm missing some context, but the first link (which is showing crossed out) is from 2018? And the second link is in French, is there an English report?
So it seems that the MSM is not really reporting on this.... I found a Fox news report (eww) and I saw MSN as well, only after I used incognito mode.
The first one was the wrong link so I edited it out, the second link is the first report of the incident from a major news source which is what was asked.
Those are both main stream and moreover the outlet afp is pushing it with live corrections as they come. Once it's vetted a bit more you'll probably see more about it but it's still not going to be as high of a reported thing as basically anything political at the moment.
