Wo ist deinen tochter bedroom?

I haven't learned the word bedroom yet.

Schlafzimmer. Sleep room. Very straight forward the Germans

[–] [email protected] 11 points 1 year ago

Yes always the most straightforward descriptive word, no matter how long that word is.

Wo ist das Schlafzimmer deiner Tochter?

Genitives go after the noun unless you want to sound very archaic. Also it's the strong declination for possessive pronouns.

I'm just learning the differences between deine and deinen, mein and meinen. It is confusing, I need to go back to writing the lessons out instead of just using Duolingo alone. It was much easier to learn when I write it down on paper.

German has 4 cases and apparently you know 2 (nominative and accusative).

I don't want to confuse or discourage you. Your progress in mind, you did good. I have very big respect for anyone who learns the mess of a language that happens to be my native language as an adult.

I was doing multiple lessons every day for 100 days but got off track for 6 months, now I'm 250 days streak but only do one lesson a day so I feel like it is slower progress but I feel pretty comfortable with most of what I have learned so far.

I was the same way but im at almost 1300 days now.

Good for you, that is a pretty well set routine by now.

A more natural translation would be

Wo ist das Schlafzimmer deiner Tochter?

Where the object is set before the subject because of some grammar rules.

Ne havas fratino, nur filino!

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago

Fek, mi ĉiam konfuzas ilin. Dankon!

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Mi fartas bone. Mi estas feliĉa ĉar mi ne konas multajn Esperantistojn kaj nun mi trovis vin. Mi estas komencanto, sed mi estos en KEKSO kaj JES por lerni.

Ho, ĉu vi aniĝis la Esperantan Discord-on? Estas multe da aliaj Esperantistoj tie.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Estas Esperantan Discordon? Mi ne sciis tion. Ĉu vi povas doni al mi la URL?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago
