A team of Peruvian and Japanese archaeologists has unearthed a pre-Hispanic archaeological site in northern Peru dedicated to ancestor worship, with burial chambers, human remains and ceramic offerings.

That's cool, though I don't think it's particularly startling that the burial site predates the Incan Empire. The Incan Empire was super powerful and influential but the empire only lasted around a 100 years. The Wari were around for 4x the amount of time
