They are called rare Earth elements, but they are not really rare. They are just not well distributed. There should be renamed to Mostly in China elements.

For example magnesite is a rare earth element, yet it's so abundantly available it's often sold as a cheap toy.

That is after decades of outsourcing health risks to other underdeveloped nations. Now Canadian will have a taste of their own capitalism.
