Important thing to remember is that organizations like the NHL, NBA, MLB, NFL, etc are the collective implementation of the team owners’ interest. So it's not just the CBA issue, the other owners see it as Tom Gaglardi trying to pull a fast one on them. (Side note: Tom’s picture has to be in the dictionary next to the entry for “large adult son.”)

Yea I have been in the posting trenches telling sports nerds it is not about competitive advantage but it's a labor issue. I'm sure the owners want games over the holidays.
