Had to check out the website, I've never seen such intricacies in woodcuts especially considering how unforgiving it is of error. Does look like decades of refinement and practice paid off.

Also Stanage Edge, that's near my house ;) Not far from where they filmed the Princess Bride...

I never knew they filmed The Princess Bride there, it's a beautiful place, lots of nice rocky bits....good for mill stones!

One thing about having a community (or two) on here, is finding some incredible artists to share. I'm really having an art education renaissance which is fun, some of the work I've found is astonishingly good, so much talent out there!

And a lot of the art, I wouldn't have discovered from just reading books and visiting galleries :). Always an adventure
