I like some of Skillet's stuff too, but the female singer does more backing vocals than true duets. I've linked Breaking Benjamin and Diamante's cover of Iris as an example I love.

not sure it counts, but maybe we are strangers by princess chelsea. she does a lot of music with Jonathan bree.

Check out Pure Reason Revolution. Many of their songs contain harmonies between the singers Jon Courtney and Chloë Alper.
