It's the dunk tank.

This is where you come to post big-brained hot takes by chuds, libs, or even fellow leftists, and tear them to itty-bitty pieces with precision dunkstrikes.

Rule 1: All posts must include links to the subject matter, and no identifying information should be redacted.

Rule 2: If your source is a reactionary website, please use archive.is instead of linking directly.

Rule 3: No sectarianism.

Rule 4: TERF/SWERFs Not Welcome

Rule 5: No ableism of any kind (that includes stuff like libt*rd)

Rule 6: Do not post fellow hexbears.

Rule 7: Do not individually target other instances' admins or moderators.

Rule 8: The subject of a post cannot be low hanging fruit, that is comments/posts made by a private person that have low amount of upvotes/likes/views. Comments/Posts made on other instances that are accessible from hexbear are an exception to this. Posts that do not meet this requirement can be posted to [email protected]

Rule 9: if you post ironic rage bait im going to make a personal visit to your house to make sure you never make this mistake again

MODERATORS

one of the most unhinged and terminally-online takes I have seen after federation, blaming us for the CSAM attacks because Hexbear is actually lying about having a coherent message and politic and we're just in it to make people's lives worse actually. Don't try to understand them! You are simply being fooled by their schemes! rent-free

if (badThingHappened) {
    return "What are the odds Hexbear played a part in this?";
}

Telling stories to my liberal children about the six-sided bear that will come and bully them for their political ignorance if they don't do their homework and go to bed by 9 o clock

these redditors are more paranoid about leftists than leftists are of actual fed infiltrators.

i try to act "civil" on the fediverse, but idk how long i'll manage to keep it up when we're accused of such reprehensible actions just for being associated with good and principled posters.

They seem incapable of believing that anybody other than a right winger would try to challenge their views

lemmy.world making themselves the largest instance by a large factor, inviting themselves to be the target of bad actors who want to target the most people

"Why would hexbear do this?"

[–] [email protected] 15 points 1 year ago

also can we talk about how few admins they have for such a large instance

Liberals: patting top of "you're a troll" cliche This bad boy can erase so many leftist positions (and neurodivergent experiences)

[–] [email protected] 25 points 1 year ago (1 children)

It really is one of those thought terminating phrases. I've not seen any reason to call Hexbearians trolls other than "waah my cishet normative/racist/propagandised/etc. thoughts are being challenged!"

Plus, if you can actually read someone's mind and tell whether they're being genuine, wtf are you doing on Lemmy? You should be on TV as The Amazing Mind Reader, showing off your Professor X powers

I highly encourage people to start using "h e x b e a r" and "h*xbear" and other such terms which make it easy to search for only the kinds of people who don't want to appear in a search for uses of the word hexbear sicko-speeeeen

If you chant HEXBEAR 3 times in the mirror you will see this hexbear-shining

[–] [email protected] 28 points 1 year ago

you never know, pretty much any troll you see on any instance is probably a ~~the_donald~~ hexbear user in disguise

[–] [email protected] 24 points 1 year ago

anything happens

is-this because Hexbear is a super-secret troll society? citations-needed

[–] [email protected] 21 points 1 year ago

Shout out to the .ee ally who's like "why would they bother?" And getting the reply "don't try to understand." Spiritually, I am you.

We are literally the joker

>*makes vague claims about Hexbear being responsible for an attack on a different instance*

>"Bro, don't try to understand an army of trolls, bro! Just listen to exactly what I have to say about them because I have special insight into them, bro!"
