Feels like classic dragon ball. Full of joy, new experiences, friends and laughter.

And Goku is a rude little bastard.

That's what I need in these trying times.

It's the first one I've started watching since DBZ and I agree with you. Pretty enjoyable to watch so far.

Super is pretty fun as well. They got the dub cast from Z back for it and the balance of action and humor is halfway between DB and DBZ

Agreed.

Daima is the last thing Toriyama touched, so I was going to watch no matter what. I'm just happy so much effort has been put into the animation and vibe.

I recently did a rewatch of DB, DBZ, DB:GT, and am finishing DB Super now! I'll be starting Daima soon, it looks fantastic!

If within the past 2 years is recent, I rewatched DB, DBZ, DBS, and all the movies. I'm properly watching DB:GT for the first time now.
