This sub is doomed from inception.

Very few political issues are also pleasant.

This community has a bot that scans all of Lemmy and preemptively bans trolls and people who receive a lot of down votes consistently. The pleasant part is supposed to refer to the people who are allowed here, not the topics themselves. It's designed to foster more constructive and less hostile comments.
