Upgrade complete (aussie.zone)
submitted 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago) by [email protected] to c/[email protected]

About to upgrade aussie.zone to lemmy 0.18.1-rc.10 and lemmy-ui to 0.18.1-rc.10. This includes some substantial database improvements.

I'll unpin this once down... expect 2-3 minutes downtime.

Ok... quicker than expected... blink and you missed it 😁

Seemingly since the upgrade, with both iOS clients MLem and Memmy when accessing my list of subscribed communities it is now empty for Aussie.zone. Deleting and re-adding my Aussie account doesn’t help.

Have you tried in a regular browser? I don't know IOS, but it sounds like a caching issue.

I just did and there the community list is populated. Weird it’s effecting just the clients and deleting my Aussie.zone profile in them doesn’t solve it.

Ok... good news that its a client side issue. Bad news... I have no idea how to help you, I'm an android person.

I don't think it's just an ios issue. Connect for Android has the same issue.

As you said it's a client side thing, so hopefully they all sort it out soon.

Right. Figured as much. Just found it weird that it’s only affecting one instance in my clients. So till I saw it not affecting the web I thought it might have been server side. Even deleting clients and re-downloading doesn’t fix it.

Thats just weird... deleting the client should also remove anything cached locally... I have no idea what is going on.

It is weird. I’ve noticed it now happening with my beehaw account too. So weird.
