Here is the no nonsense guide to getting Stremio to work on IOS devices
- On Safari, open the Stremio Web Player
- Click the share button in the lower middle part of your screen (the square with an arrow pointing up). Select add to home screen.
- Download Outplayer on the app store. This is a free app, and will function as the media player for your content.
- Open the Stremio app on your home screen and log into your account.
- Click the profile section at the top right of the screen and enter the settings section. From there, scroll down to the advanced section and change the 'Play in external player' section to Outplayer.
- Enjoy. Make sure the Outplayer app is open, and play any movie in Stremio seamlessly. Outplayer automatically opens and plays the content, including subtitles.
Note: This method works if you have a Debrid subscription enabled. Aside from that, you can use any addon in Stremio, including torrentio, knightcrawler, etc.
