Full disclosure I actually found this creep on a different sub and went digging to see just how awful he is, but disappointingly he's just a really boring asshole in addition to being an open pedophile, so I had to settle for the starcitizen+weird bad take+open pedophile combo. Maybe if I scrolled back far enough I could find something more entertaining, but I can't overstate just how dull this creep is.
It's hard for me to care about the microtransaction part of this (which I'd normally care about a lot, because it's gambling for and exploitation of kids) because I'm so focused on how this person was comfortable talking to people on the internet with a handle that is basically just "pedophile."
He feels so safe! What kind of culture have we created where such a person doesn't feel compelled to skulk about in the shadows.
I will say, about halfway through typing my parenthesized text I realized that of course a pedophile is pro-normalizing risky and exploitative behaviors in kids. Sink this POS into the Mariana Trench.
