How about political shootings?

Oh I didn't advocate for any particular politician to be killed by gunfire. I'm just curious if he'd be okay with normalizing that type of tragedy, just as he seems okay with normalizing school shooting tragedies.

They're not doing anything after Trump's close call, and nothing has changed since Gabby Giffords, so yes they are normalizing it.

They'll wait to see if a dem or republican

Democrats and Republicans are two factions of the same Death Cult. They're a lot alike, but one major difference in their beliefs is whose children must be offered as sacrifice to sate the darkness behind our society.

For Democrats it's brown children overseas. Republicans want that also of course, but they're unique in offering their own children too.

...While also expecting everyone to believe they're the pro-family option.

They’re the ones who bully, disown, and ostracize their kids at a higher rate, so yeah, seems pretty fucking American if you ask me.

but they're unique in offering their own children too.

berdly-actually their own failsons and faildaughters go to special private schools, though they probably see the poors' children as "theirs" too in the worst possible ways.

Yes, I should have been more specific. I was referring to the voters in this case. Not the elected officials.

‘No Way To Prevent This,’ Says Only Nation Where This Regularly Happens

"school shootings are a fact of life" says high official in the only country where they are happening regularily

Surrounded by armed security

He didn’t say whose life, did he?

Tbf he says that it is a bad thing it is so normalized. Though his "solutions" are classic reactionary nonsense "door control", turning a systemic issue into an individualized one.

Obviously everything else being equal, less gun access will result in fewer deaths. The state homicide rates aren't comparable because there are million other factors at play.

I think more republican politicians need a bullet to the brain before they start even considering it. mission-accomplished <-

And he calls for even more pigmask-off roaming around schools, harassing/creeping on kids, and rifling through their backpacks.

There was enough security theater at my old school to put on an actual fucking play, daily.

pigmask-off pigmask-off pigmask-off pigmask-off pigmask-off pigmask-off pigmask-off pigmask-off pigmask-off pigmask-off pigmask-off

Turns everywhere into a mass surveilled police state

frothingfash: “Sorry, but doing anything about guns would be ToO aUtHoRiTaRiAn!1!1”

[–] [email protected] 29 points 2 months ago (1 children)

I really don’t know what would happen to my brain if this happened in my children’s school. I’d probably play a lot of Minecraft in the DC metro area.

You shoot the kid,
you breed the couch,
you take them both
and there you have
The facts of life, the facts of life.

Blames it on "psychos" but somehow doesn't think that affordable (or y'know, free) mental health care is a priority. Every time this happens somehow the mentally ill get blamed. Turns out psychopaths can live indistinguishably from the rest of the public and supposedly well-adjusted "sane" people can commit mass shootings or justify genocides. Maybe instead of blaming a large, marginalized group, we can improve people's conditions so maybe they won't do this. For kids this may be actually doing something about bullying, providing mental health care, and hiring teachers that don't not-so-secretely hate kids.

how-compelling Quite, face the wall, please.
