Why does he give thumbs up in such a weird way…? I’m not even trying to picky back on the current meme about republicans but for real…why are so many of them faking being normal humans…

It's one of his go-to poses.

He gave a smiling thumbs up when posing with a baby whose parent had just died: https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2019/aug/09/trump-el-paso-melania-orphan-baby-thumbs-up

Gave the double thumbs up after a hurricane, but did seem to realize the smile would be too much for that moment: https://www.thenation.com/article/politics/hurricane-politics-and-climate-change-in-the-age-of-trump/

He got a Trump pyramid for five nights free.

This was the context when Egypt allegedly bribed Trump. The Republican candidate met with Sisi at the UN General Assembly in September 2016, telling him the US would be a "loyal friend" if he won. In October, Trump gave his cash-starved campaign $10 million. And Egypt allegedly repaid him once he was elected via a state bank working through an intelligence cut-out.

Well, that sure sounds like it.

Don't really get why the article pretends Obama had cold relations with Sisi when the coup took place under his watch. Obama continued to provide Sisi with weapons. The meeting optics are not that relevant. And Sisi was literally trained in the US.

Politico 2014:

Egypt's New Dictator Was Made in the USA - The U.S. trained him and funds his regime. So why won't Sisi listen?

Also from the Zeteo article:

Then came the 2016 race between Hillary Clinton and Trump. Clinton was known as a human rights hawk

What does this line even mean?

But the conclusion of the article is that Trumps administration gave Sisi a 10 million dollar bribe to finance his Egyptian campaign which got repaid afterwards am I getting that right?
