Olight owes me $188.87 in affiliate commissions

Two months after initially contacting them about it by email, they have not paid and are no longer replying to messages.

This is a weird move by Olight considering it’s specifically these kinds of reviews that drive much of their sales in the flashlight community.

Non-enthusiasts dgaf about quality and will just as willingly buy the $1 flashlight at the Home Depot checkout line. Olight is dependent on flashlight hobbyists so it’s strange that they would potentially alienate that whole consumer base.

@rbd22 Odd indeed. I imagine they didn't like what I had to say in my review, but they had the option of terminating the affiliate account before anybody used it.

Olight has demonstrated a lack of ethics fairly regularly in one way or another. I stopped buying from them a while back. And there are better alternatives.

Woah, that is not cool. How much in sales does that come out to?

I guess I'm not buying any Olight products until this is properly resolved.

What an annoying company. A few of their models were attractive but nah, there are always alternatives. Good luck getting your money.

Added: you might replace all your olight reviews with a banner saying the issue.
