Not sure if get-iplayer is of any help here but for BBC it's amazing (think you need a VPN outside the UK).

Maybe look into residential proxies
There are other streaming sites that you can use if you know specifically what show you want to watch. Not good for finding British TV, but definitely good for streaming it. DM me.
