It would be nice to have an option that hides NSFW posts in the front page and all collections, so I can browse on the work wifi without causing issues. Then be able to browse through those specific channels at home with all the preloading on.

Could either work as an extra setting in the main settings window, or perhaps a "hide this subscription from the main feed" on a per channel basis?

Or does anyone have a way of doing this already?

Hi, that's the current behavior of 'Show NSFW' when set to blur. It will blur on all/local/front-page but not when inside a nsfw community.

But it still loads the images to blur them, that's problematic if you are on someone else's wifi with content monitoring.

Ok that makes sense and thank you for the feedback. I'll add a setting to change the 'hide' behaviour from always hiding to showing when you're viewing a nsfw community.

Got the update today, works great thank you!

Wouldn't disabling Global setting which make all settings account based solve this... Account 1 - Hide or Blur NSFW Account 2 - Show NSFW

Also I think that when having the Blur NSFW on, it blurs NSFW on Front/Local/All and when going into a Community it shows on blurred.

Love the idea and saw it in other Reddit / Lemmy Apps.

I think in voyager it's called NSFW: Blur in feed (but show in communities)

I literally just made a PR for Voyager to add this…not helpful for you but definitely valid and doable.

Which of the Lemmy apps is best for keeping multiple user accounts separated? I'm using liftoff but since adding a nsfw instance and account, my home is littered with it.

I don't want to see that stuff 24/7, I wish I could temporarily disable the account or instance from the app while it isn't in use

I'm liking thunder, it supports multiple accounts. Switching accounts is a bit bugged, i have to close the app to have all ui elements update properly.

Maybe I'll just log into the nsfw on thunder and just use 2 apps lol
