My favorite part of Cartoon Network in the early 90s was seeing the random Hanna Barbera filler cartoons that used the Scooby Doo formula.

You talking Jabber Jaw, Speed Buggy, and the always wonderful Josie and the Pussycats? I loved catching those. The Banana Split live action show at 2 am was weird though.

I remember when Cartoon Network started. It wasn't great. As the ad shows, it was mainly Flintstones and obscure Hanna Barbera stuff. Imagine Boomerang but with a lot less content. Once the Cartoon Network originals started though...
