When I've tried uploading an image to my posts today I keep getting an error. Tried uploading on a different instance and it works fine.

The error on the web reads: SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data

On Jerboa it reads: Value of type java.lang.String cannot be converted to JSONObject

Any idea why this is and how it could be fixed?

I’ve had the same issue a few times. apparently it’s from the server being overloaded. if you wait and try again it should work eventually.

Thank you. Just saw a similar post and answer on the support community. Just "growing pains" for lemmy/vlemmy then. Glad to see were growing though! Think I'll consider donating for the continued awesomeness of this instance

I can confirm this. I had issues two days ago but now it's fine
