Here's a thought that just came to me (may not be possible but if it is it would be insane) - So we can add waypoints to lines so the vehicles go a certain route without adding a station. One thing that always bothered me was that at terminal stations you always have to use one platform. But what if you had a siding, set a waypoint there and the vehicle stopped at one terminal platform, used the siding to reverse back into the other one and goes on its way. Its something I've always wanted. Thanks for coming to my TED talk

They're talking about intercity stuff. Did I miss something or will we be able to manage regions with different cities?

Last week they briefly showed that you can connect roads (at least highways), rail and air to the map borders! I think it was in the video, and not in the blog post itself. I’ll look up the picture

The biggest thing I'm thinking about is how a regional map would work. I do know that SimCity 4 did it successfully, but the lack of explicit showcasing of such a feature for CS2 has me skeptical they have one.

I'm expecting that intercity connections will purely be based on existing save files. But, I would welcome being proven wrong if they end up showcasing a regional map!

It looks like you are correct

Colossal Order answering that the outside connections are similar to how it worked in the original Cities: Skylines

Well that sucks. Got my hopes up!

Aw, had my hopes up for a bit there.

If anyone wants to try, I was also planning to cross-post to the CS community at /c/[email protected] but it didn't work for me
