Please let those be red switches.

Good. So you aren't pissing off the entire library.

Yeah I did kinda choose these switches for this reason, I'm always using this keyboard in shared areas.

This library has signs up saying that it's not a quiet library, noise is permitted and expected. That said the clackety clack would've been a dramatic and unnecessary flex.

I'd probably go nuts if someone came in with a keyboard with blue switches and started going ham with typing in my library. That being said, it is the superior switch.

Superior to anything linear, sure. But Topre and Clears would like a word. I'm looking forward to trying some Baby Kangaroos, soon.

I really want to try topre switches. But most keyboards with hot swap keys cost money I do not have. The few mech keebs I've owned/used had lightstrike blues, kailh box browns, and some red switch that was really gritty for some reason. The lightstrike blues were really nice, box brows were louder than the blues imo. The red switch sucked. It was on a high end Corsair keyboard too. I don't think it was a mechanical membrane hybrid thing.

I'm not sure, are Topres hot swap compatible? I have a Leopold FC660C, myself, and an FC750R with clears. I've also had a Corsair with Cherry browns, and a Code with clears. I just ordered a Nuphy Halo75 with baby kangaroos.

I don't think they are but topre keyboards are kinda pricey last I checked.

Hello, fellow Linux and M14 user.

FYI, the TEX Shura is quite nice :)

I really wish they'd offer a 2.4ghz radio with some decent polling. The Bluetooth accessory is nice, I guess, but polling rate sucks.

Yeah, I have the Bluetooth module for both the Shura and the Shinobi, and I'm not a fan. I run them wired mainly.
