Went to the Dreamsonic 2023 Tour this week in Philly and had a blast! About 3.5 hours of epic prog music. Animals as Leaders were technically magnificent as always, Dream Theater once again knows how to wow, even if Labrie is getting a bit shaky on the vocals. Devin Townsend though was the highlight of the night for me with his incredible vocal skills and showmanship. Wish the venue was a little more "lively", but all in all a killer performance from all. Anybody else go or is going?

I'm going mid-month in Spokane!

Your review kind of matches my expectations to be honest. I've been getting into Devin Townsend heavily in the last couple months, and I'm super stoked to see him.

Hope you enjoy it! After seeing Dream Theater a few times I have certainly always enjoyed their musicianship, but being my first time seeing Devin I was blown away by how fun and creative his music is.

I was there too! Agreed on the review. Labrie sounded like his voice was tired, but Dream Theater never fail to astound. AAL just crushed it, full stop. Loved all the songs they played from their new album, especially Micro-Agressions. Devin Townsend played perfectly and was a lot of fun. I wish he'd played a couple more songs from the new album, but the sorta "greatest hits" style setlist he did was still great.

And of course the encore blew my mind
