Yeah, I think I would probably hate myself and Christmas after that as well. A dark reminder where the nightmares come earlier every year as stores and the media start celebrating earlier and earlier.

Anon needs to find a new holiday to get excited about with him, because this one ain't it, chief.

I cried long and hard enough when I finished the book as a kid that my mom got scared and called our doctor.

Pfft, try the book instead. Both movie versions are less emotionally impacting than the book, and they hit pretty damn hard
