I'm a fan of the Weeknd's music but everything from this show - minus a few of the singles, namely Popular with Playboi Carti & Madonna - looks uninteresting at best or ridiculous at worst, especially the character he's playing.
Granted, I haven't watched the show, so perhaps the marketing is just terrible, but still it almost seems to be a parody of a show HBO would be airing currently from what I've seen.
I must be the only person who enjoyed watching this show. Yes The Weeknd is a terrible actor. But the show is still entertaining β most shots are beautiful and the "music industry drama" is funny.
Iβm scared to watch this show after what Iβve heard about it and Iβm a big fan of The Weeknd. I donβt want this show to give me the ick whenever I listen to him in the future lol
His acting in this has gotten him some real eye-rolling reviews... π¬
