i've watched the new geopolitcal economy report interview about China and i'm interest in their different from the west form of democracy, can somebody give me sources to study? thank you very much.

I saw an amazing video by Chinese state media a while ago that really opened my eyes to the inner workings of the NPC. They interviewed a worker at an electric bike factory who held some position of power within the NPC and she elucidated what she did there on behalf of the workers.

I am absolutely pissed that I can't find it. If anyone knows, it's an English guy interviewing people. IIRC it displays a local vote on how to allocate recently built housing, and the people unanimously decide the most fair way to do it is practically to draw straws - random, but it's a creative solution stemming from the masses, and everyone accepts the outcome.

The English guy also does a sick production ramp ride-off on an electric bike.
