Looks like el nino is now official. Think I might get in early and get a whole lotta that brown dripper hose and throw it on timers.

With Melbs pop. growth since the millenium drought (3.5m ->5.2m)... and near zero new water capacity... If we get a repeat of that...

...you'll be ready to numb us to the pain of climate catastrophe with your home grown organically lobotomising chillos. Now with extra irrigation!

Last night I had my first climate change nightmare.

"it's going to get much colder and summers will be boiling"

day 5, had to drive with the corset; let's just say the loaner car is too low.... but yea excited to get the dashcam and boot protector installed, my cupboard didn;t turn up today....

williamstown enterance to the west gate this morning was shit. the car was moving around 1km an hour, turns out becos it was a one-lane-only entrance everyone has using the second lane to cut in. best part was I used a side road to exit and there is a "keep clear" box outside this side road, had to loudly horn at someone who was cutting in. smh

The pain is better today took a nice afternoon sleep. yea, these days I've been sleeping a lot, resting a lot. some said no housework but having both of us having back issues, someone has to do it lol, but really taking it easy. might attempt t go to the city on Friday for the footy as well as on Saturday to go to the finders market with a friend. definitely weaning myself off endone. will attempt med-free sleep tonight.

weather is too cold.....

On the final leg of my trip home! Flight delayed 40 mins, then took 40 mins to get my bag. Far out there’s some nonsense with our airlines at the moment!

I wish my office walls weren't 70% window. I could be napping under my desk right now.

Lunch made and eaten.

A simple toasted egg sandwich with margarine. Actually is sitting a lot heavier that I remembered and coffee is made.

Had a strange dream after I turned off my snooze alarm this morning.

A workmate was my late mum and I were sitting at a table I guess for coffee and my workmate tells my mum that she needs to stop stressing because it’s affecting me and causing me to stress.

The my mum gets really angry and throws her out of the house and I walk outside and leave all the commotion waiting for my workmate to come out with me so we can both walk away from it all.

Instead my brother comes out and tells me everyone’s on their way (mum and family) and I get fed up and sigh heavily and walk away.

Then I wake up.

Weird dream, not particularly close with this workmate either.

I'm hoping I don't feel as shit about work tomorrow. I have some big thinking and planning to do for myself I feel like I could really use a week off. I've written down a list of stuff that I need to do including routine medical checkups that I've been procrastinating on. I don't know how so many things have crept up on me. Adult life I guess. Just as you feel like you got life sorted, another bunch of problems or life admin stuff comes up. Sigh.

Stuck on a bus in peak hour doing the Westgate Crawl. Seriously why do people drive in peak hour? Is it really worth it?
