Hello, I would really appreciate being able to disable swipe gestures (for example to upvote/downvote or save). In Apollo iirc there was a settings switch for each swipe gesture, and disabling all of them enabled lateral swipes for navigation, from anywhere on the screen instead of just from the edge. Thanks

We've got a big customization update slated to start development soon, full gesture control will definitely be in it!

Very nice thank you

+1

Apollo for that other place had it; it meant I don’t accidentally upvote/downvote or invoke those actions as I scroll. Made scrolling much smoother for me. Especially with good caching. Scrolling back to the feed from a post felt great.

If you use Voyager (which is legit a Apollo clone) it has the removal of gestures.

I’m sorry but a PWA is never ever going to be good enough to replace a native app, especially one written in swift like Mlem, no matter how well the interface is designed.

Voyager has a native iOS app. It even has an Apple Watch companion.

Care to link me? I can’t find anything about that. Going to vger.app opens the web app, adding it to the Home Screen is a PWA and not a native app via App Store or test flight

Edit: found the app in App Store. seems to just be a wrapper for the PWA, not much better. ill stick with mlem
