I’d say having these groups coordinate in a platform where government officials are able to gain easy access is better than banning them and forcing them to move to more secure methods of communication

It's not, because extremism spreads like herpes. Making these platforms more accessible to government officials also makes them more accessible to vulnerable, stupid people -- and there's 1000 of them for every 1 fed who wants to stop a terrorist attack.

Also, the people at the core of these groups are absolutely aware of secure communication. The Facebook page might say "Rally for Freedom, 2A welcome" but behind that curtain, human dogshit are brainstorming things like "how can we get counter protesters killed".

As dumb as most of the far-right is, very few are stupid enough to plan crimes and conspiracies on Facebook.

And believe that God himself has ordained Trump as his anointed President and all who stand against him are terrorist child rapists, all the evidence is in Hilary's laptop, or Hunter's laptop!

Still blows my mind that Matt Gaetz, only barely less of a QAnoner than Bobert and ... MTG... Gaetz actually literally paid for and trafficked a minor for sexual reasons, and somehow he isnt in jail.

Yesterday on my way to work as usual everyone was slowly crawling to the 20mph sign by the nearby school. But no cop. But then eventually down the road the cop had caught somebody.

So basically we all gathered to vote to borrow a cop from another precinct just so he can catch us going 25 or 23 near a school. And you gotta watch it. It's basically a permanent fear mongering illegal check point. Can't the fucker go stop people at the qwickee Mart or something at least one day of the week?
