what does Opulent Tapestry snap to? (lemmy.sdf.org)

I can't figure out how to place an Opulent Tapestry, it's always trying to snap into walls or the floor and when I switch to free build to stop the snapping it's like half way across the base. why is it so broken?

Can you try putting something on the wall and then the tapestry on that?
