When I search on WefWef, it will return results all over from federated servers. There are times when my searches return news from a country I’m not in and I’d like to hit the 3 dots on that server and block it entirely.

wefwef is not able to block communities yet, but I am guessing it will come in time. As for blocking entire instances, that's not a feature of Lemmy on the user level, only admins can do it. I believe users can block instances over at kbin though, which is a fork of Lemmy and can interact with Lemmy and other parts of the Fediverse. You would have to make an account on kbin though.

Ok thank you. It’s inconvenient for now but the whole thing is do young. I remember the alien site in its first growth explosion.

I like browsing all communities but need a way so I don’t have a bunch in other languages or exclude ones I don’t want to see.

Hoping this is something lemmy/wefwef can do
