Is this taking time away from her efforts to raise the minimum wage or get universal parental leave in the US?

It's possible to bring together a wide array of goals if you have enough horizontal resolution.

Damn, I didn’t even know she could do that.

It's $1,400. A BigScreenVR is $1K and has 4K micro OLED PER EYE.

Mmmmm to be clear, the closer to your eye you get, the more pixel density you need. 4K on VR is good, but not as good as 4K on a monitor.

Every time I decide “nope, get VR for flight sim” something like this teases.

I’m enjoying my ultrawide Alienware OLED for flight sim purposes quite well. I have VR for doing some VFR flying but for anything with instruments I like to keep it basic and 2D.

To add to that, I think HDR actually makes a good difference flying at night and dusk. It makes it much more enjoyable. A lot of VR panels still struggle with halos and other visual artifacts on dark scenes with highlights like runway lights.

That Alienware OLED looks amazing

3440x1440 on a 45 inch panel. You better don’t use it for anything besides gaming.

Isn't that curve a bit tight for that distance? It makes sense as an immersive, close monitor, but if you have it far away behind a wheel, it's going to be distorted.

I have an Odyssey g9 and it has a 1000R curve - and sits about 3 feet from my face and that feels about right. At a guess - at 800R it is a bit too tight to sit far enough away to have a proper wheel and such in between you and the display.
