Aside from microblogs, I do want to know if there is such a feature that allows this.

No, I believe they are a different type of post altogether.

No, Mastodon only implements parts of the ActivityPub protocol so it has no support for Groups, the underlying mechanism for Magazines.

However, mastodon can reply to threads once they have been created. Also Mastodon toots show up in the Microblog section of Kbin.
