Like many others, I’ve been looking into internet browsers lately. This guy has put together a pretty extensive comparison: pctips.com/best-browsers

Pep Guardiola: "When I was in trouble my mum and dad never gave me away. "Now I want to be with this club and with these players to help them. We didn’t think we could lose one game, two games. Losing six or seven is ‘wow’, it is a lot, but it is what it is, accept it.”

But in a shrinking movie industry, DIY microbudget filmmaking may increasingly be left to fill some of the void left by risk-averse, corporate-driven Hollywood.

“I hope people can stop shooting things to make them look like commercials and just get back to more of the nitty gritty and letting your imagination flow,” says Tews, who also co-wrote the movie with Cheslik. “I just hope we stop bowing down to Hollywood and thinking they’re the gold standard. Because they just aren’t.”

Shout out to Piefed and its 75 monthly active users: https://piefed.fediverse.observer/dailystats

Traditions can be discriminatory

Indeed, but this is more about admins banning users from the entire instance because they don't share the same political views.

Lemmy.zip name is really unfortunate

[-] [email protected] 43 points 11 months ago

To be honest the issue is more about the power tripping than politics. Banning someone from the Arch Linux community because they disagree with you seems strange

LW is already much more active than lemmy.ml (18k monthly active users vs 2.5k: https://fedidb.org/software/lemmy/), so the system is working, people have left for a less politically biased instance

If there’s a community that only exists there, be the change you want to see: create it somewhere else and give it time to grow. You’re not the only one making this complaint about .ml, and you probably wont’ be the last.

Maybe we should open a thread on [email protected] about this

They are getting desperate

Version 0.19 counts votes as active users.

Previous version only counted comments and posts

It has been a while that Nitter shut down. Still a pity, a few artists posted only there
