((( Curtis Yarvin ))) on Bitcoin:

“I hate to talk about it because I am not a beast and don’t need to rub my stink on everything, but I also am pretty sure I begat the theory known in the crypto world as “Bitcoin Maximalism.”

  1. Other people being discourteous doesn't mean it's okay for you to be.

  2. Conspiratainment Grifter Peters talking with Jew Libartardian Grifter Berwick about vaccine injuries has nothing to do with Monero.

Criminals are getting better at Wrench Attacks.

Some attacks are now worth millions of dollars.

This is why Privacy Coins are so important, and you should never brag about the size of your bags, and never pay for things from a public ledger wallet where people can trace back to see the size of your bags.

I agree, and would like to add "Respond politely, with facts, reason, and logic".

Snark, cursing, and hyperbole are the ways of BTC Maxis.

Monero People are better than that. 🙂

Another great interview from Whitney Webb this week.

I also made an audio-only .mp3 file of this for your phone (87mb)...

In this video by Rob Braxman provides a good overview on why you should dual-boot Windows and Linux, and how this protects you from A.I.

I've settled upon using four drives as the best privacy & security solution:

  • First SSD with Windows 10 for things like HAM Radio software and video editing to make best use of Nvidia GPU's.

  • Second SSD with Kubuntu as a daily driver for surfing, email, calendaring, and podcasting. (I love KDE.)

  • Third SSD with cut-down-to-the-bone Debian used for nothing except touching my most precious crypto wallets. No browser. No email. No closed-source.

  • Fourth drive - 8 Terrabyte spinner formatted as NTFS for sharing big video and data files between Windows and Kubuntu.

I also regularly image the drives using Clonezilla to the 8 TB spinner.

This way, if I wad up one of the OS's with carelessness or testing (often), I throw the image back on there, and I'm up and running again fast without having to completely rebuild.

What Jet said.

Reddit is highly censored and curated by Wall Street's Big Tech arm, with A.I. bots attempting to push certain ideas which benefit Wall Street, and suppress other ideas which do not.

Providing Reddit with free content does a disservice to the cause of Human Freedom.

Sometimes information on things like assistance with Linux, Car Repair, or Crypto, etc. are simply not available elsewhere, but you are doing the right thing by supporting alternative platforms like this one as much as possible. 👍

In this video Bitcoin Mechanic explains how Monero's main competitor Bitcoin Core became infected with Woke, and why that endangers Bitcoin's long-term survival.

Some say "Code is Code", but that is childish thinking, and not how the world actually works.

FOSS commits are political, and always have been.

I just found this Engraver at Harbor Freight for $10.

Yeah, it's Chinaman Junk, ...but $10!!! Now you have no excuse for not inscribing your precious seed words on stainless steel as commanded by God.

Pro-Tip: Ask your Dentist for his old drill bits. They work great, and now mine is interested in Monero.

Benevolent Wall Street Crypto Bros are forming Super-PACs and spending almost 100 million dollars buying Politicians in order to protect YOU, the small Hodler, from rapacious Government.

We need a current comprehensive expose' of how CloudFlare is a MITM attack.

Something solid and flawless we can refer people to, because most people don't believe it when you tell them.

Academic paper from last month's International World Wide Web Conference for people who enjoy reading such things. :-)

*"Our approach involves injecting malicious Monero Tor hidden service nodes into the Monero P2P network to correlate the onion addresses of incoming Monero Tor hidden service peers with their originating transactions.

And by sending a signal watermark embedded with the onion address to the Tor circuit, we establish a correlation between the onion address and IP address of a Monero Tor hidden service node."*

Bitcoin Number-Go-Up Degenerates are like Gun Owners who support a law banning the sale of new semi-automatics if it would make the semi-autos they currently own more valuable.

Some say this sudden increase in transaction volume is the result of Bitcoiners fleeing into Monero after the recent publicity proving that No-KYC Bitcoin use is de-facto illegal.

I choose to believe this regardless of whether it's true or not. 😁

I believe things are in a state of flux as security and privacy-minded people re-adjust to the new reality wherein attacks with real-world consequences (like getting thrown in prison on false charges) are no longer theoretical.

In the past, such things mostly only happened to high-profile activists like Julian Assange and Edward Snowden. Now it's happening to normal, everyday people, just like we predicted for years would happen.

Things are getting "real". People are adjusting.

Naïve people often mistake malevolence for incompetence.

Gatekeepers recommend ineffective and/or dangerous solutions on purpose.

Monero is a good measure of how serious and trustworthy a news source or social platform is.

For example, GAB refuses to accept donations or membership fees in Monero, and Infowars uses Cloudflare.
