I've created whatnow.site (honestly, heavily inspired by Seahorse's post) after my partner and I said to each other, "okay, what can we do now to fight this?"

The goal of this page is to be a (somewhat collaborative) collection of resources to help people get involved in the fight against fascism (primarily focused in the US.)

When I have the time next, I plan to include a section on technology choices -- similar to these posts I've seen floating around on the Fediverse.

I'm wanting to get this out there and get some constructive criticism on it. Gimme all you got!

The oreo was delicious as you'd expect. The brownie bite was like hot brownie batter coated in pancake, powdered sugar and caramel sauce. I will absolutely do that again.

Mistakes were made, but it's nothing tums and laying down can't fix.

What's that old friend? You want me to fry up some oreos and brownie bites? I mean I guess we can do it....

Things I learned from my last visit to Applebee's:

  1. White people are in the minority as far as customers go anyway
  2. People will order online, then get there and stand around waiting for their food for long periods of time. Sometimes they sit at the bar and get a drink while they wait.
  3. People order fruity drinks in large quantities which puts stress on the single bartender working at the time. Example drink: "The Tipsy Cuban"
  4. The bartender does one thing at a time. No multitasking. To be fair, I wouldn't rush around if I worked at Applebee's either.
  5. There are either 1 or 2 people at a table, or a large family with 5+ people. Not really any in-between.

I sat at the bar, ordered pepsi and a quesadilla burger which was microwaved to 🤌 perfection 🤌, and left a >50% tip.

Is Lemmy dark mode by default? What a power move.

I noticed many new individuals joining following the Reddit API news. Do you have any questions about this website, Lemmy, or the fediverse?

I check my bare bones Facebook timeline like twice a day. It always suggests either some shitty conservative page or a far-left page. Probably because it knows I like guns lol.

What garbage suggestions do you see when you check your timeline?

I've gotten to know @[email protected] because we're both Mastodon instance admins and he has been super helpful. He just started a new server at https://screengeeks.club/ which, as the login page explains, is "A CalcKey instance for fans of movies, TV, video games, and tech!" It is relatively new but a fun idea.

I'm doing well. I'm busy at work but not too busy. Recently I bought a raised garden bed, filled it with soil, and planted vegetables in it.
